In 2024, my second year of Cibap during the study International Creative Business Development I was able to work on a clock based on The fiat 500.
I have always been fascinated by furniture and design from the 1950s to the 1980s. The shapes, colors, and materials from that time period really inspire me. I especially like how designers from that era combined functionality with playful and unique styles.
Besides furniture, I’ve also been interested in classic cars from that time. One of my favorites is the Fiat 500. I love its compact design, round shapes, and the feeling of nostalgia it gives.
Inspired by both vintage furniture and the Fiat 500, I decided to design a clock. I created the design in Womp, a 3D modeling tool, and then brought it to life using a 3D printer. The clock combines retro elements with a modern twist and reflects my interest in design history and product making. It was a fun and creative project where I learned a lot about 3D modeling and printing.
