Internship at BNNVARA

In 2024, my fourth year of Cibap during the study International Creative Business Development. I had the pleasure to do my last internship at BNNVARA.

During my internship I researched 4 questions in 20 weeks. The main question was: 'How can we make it more accessible for young people to find information about consumer problems?'. The weeks excisted out of:

• week 1 research

• week 2 creating ideas

• week 3 testing

• week 4 presentation

In had a very meaningful time here and felt very welcomed and seen. The place really fit my interest and political opinion.

For my exam work, I designd a digital city in the metaverse where different buildings can be entered. Each building addresses the issues related to its theme. Additionally, in each building, websites are collected that provide more information on those topics.

Every Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, each building hosts experts by experience, with whom you can talk about these issues.

How can you enter?You can easily access Decentraland by logging in with your Google account. You don’t necessarily need an account, but without one, your options are more limited.

What can you do in Kassa City?

• Walk around

• Take quizzes to test your knowledge on each topic

• Find websites with more information

• Meet people

• Have conversations, either by talking or via chat

• Search for information anonymously

• Attend lectures by well-known people like Tim Hofman or Amber from Kassa herself
